This week my grandparent got a new puppy hes a Jack Russel and he is soooooo tiny i was a little nervous for Indy to meet him cause hes so small and compared to him she is huge! but i decided to let them meet she was so exited and i think he was too he was a little bit nervous but they got along great, i cant wait till he gets bigger and they will be able to play with each other I was suprized how gentle she was with him, i think she knows when to be gentle cause i have a one year old little brother and she has always been very gentle with him.I m so proud of her and how much she has learned

sorry i am so behind on writing my blog posts! i have a lot of family stuff going on but anyways!
week 8 me and Indy went on a run we went to the track at well i am not sure what its called now but its the park at the old high school. I usually go on runs just in my neighbor hood but i decided we should change it up she had a lot of fun but she was exhausted after shes pretty good at going my pace, shes starting to outgrow her harness already! i feel like a moms saying this but shes growing up way to fast! Unfortunately i do not think i am gonna be unable to show any photos cause my phone is currently taken. omg, the weather was so bad this week it was raining and thundering all week my other dog Leo is about 3 years old and he is scared of thunder but our old dog who pasted away like a couple years ago named Memphis and she was always scared of thunder and i think that is were Leo picked up the behavior, anyways it was like 8 in the morning and i got woke up by the thunder and my parents had left on a trip for the week and i was so worried about Leo because i knew he would freaking out and Indy decided she was scared too i tried my best to comfort them so i stayed with them for a couple hours till the storm stoppedThis week i went on a camping trip so i didn't really get to work with her much i left Thursday and this was the longest i have been away from her i wish i could have brought her but there was a music festival and we were not aloud to bring dogs, My grandma took care of her while i was gone and she said she was good i hate i didn't get to do munch with her this week.on week five me and Indy went on a walk without a leash on the trails behind my house i wanted to see how well she would do without getting distracted, she honestly did really good there was a couple times where she got a little far off in to the woods but she came back as soon as i called her. she didn't seem to mind any off the wildlife, she wasn't bothered by any of the squirrels either I figured out that she loves swimming to she decided to jump straight into the pond and was soaking wet but i dried her off after but she had so much fun..This week I was planning on taking her on my paddle board but it was way to cold for that this week so ill have to save that for another week, This week I took her on a walk up to my grandmas house on the way I got the idea to let her meet our chickens which was something new for her I couldn't really tell if she wanted to eat them or was scared or them she kinda chased them for a minute then I yelled at her and she kinda stopped so the chicken thing wasn't very successful but we kept walking and then she saw a puddle and decided it dig in it and stick her whole face in it.Then I got her to go in the barn with me into the barn cause we have a lot of barn cats and I think its good for her to practice being around different types of animals,I think she was good this week, I am kind of ruining out of things to teach her since she knows most of the basic tricks so ill have to do some thinking. This week me and Indy went to the dog park she was so exited to go again she meet two dogs named Roscoe and daisy they were much smaller then her but she had so much fun playing with them, we practiced going threw the tunnel and going up the ramp,I think this was great experience for her to get used to meeting new people and new dogs, She had so much fun and i am so proud of her for behaving so well while we were there the only thing she struggled with was going fully up the ramp cause it was a little bit slippery from the rain .My plans for the future week is to teach her how to get on my paddle board but it has been to cold for that recently. This week i went to tractor supply and bought Indy harness and new treats, we practiced going on walks in my neighbor hood we practiced simple thinks like sitting when cars came by this seems like a simple task but i think its really important to insure her health and everyone else i didn't really think about how important this was until i moved in to our new house and saw the way my neighbors dogs acted trying to run at the cars and bite the tires its so annoying for everyone so i didn't want anyone to have to deal with her doing it, we went a a walk almost everyday until she was totally comfortable with it, then we went to the dog park at the old high school she absolutely loved this i wish there was other dogs there for her to play with but we went kind of later in the day, overall im so proud of her progress there is a couple things we still need to work on like not getting distracted and still listening even in places with lots of things going on i think this is going to something we will work on more next week, but i cant wait to see how much more she can learn in the next coming weeks.
